Ygal
Bendavid
Ygal Bendavid earned his Bachelor's Degree from the École des HEC in 1997 prior to continuing his graduate studies at the École Polytechnique de Montréal where, in 1999, he completed a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering. While working on his Master's Degree, he also held the position of Assistant Researcher in the management of technological projects where he specialized in projects of acquisition and implementation of IT.
In 2001, after having worked as a Project Manager in the field of telecommunications both in Canada and abroad, Ygal undertook his Doctorate Degree studies in Technological Project Management at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. Since that time, he has pursued his academic and professional development with the Canada Research Chair in the area of Technological Project Management and the Centre ePoly (centre of expertise in electronic commerce at the École Polytechnique de Montréal).
Since the winter of 2004, he has given several courses on information systems, electronic commerce and project management; at the École Polytechnique, the École des Sciences de la Gestion (UQAM) as well as at the Université de Sherbrooke.
His research focuses on problems relating to the implementation of emerging technologies (i.e.: RFID) as well as on the impact of RFID technologies pertaining to the optimization of business processes intra-inter organizations, more specifically within the framework of the chain of supply. He is CompTIA RFID+ certified.
Harold
Boeck
After having earned his B.B.A. in Marketing and Management at the École des HEC Montréal, Harold Boeck started his career at one of IBM's elite partners where he held the position of Programme Director of Electronic Business. As such, he advised numerous businesses in the area of electronic collaboration. In fact, he was the first in Québec to obtain his certification from IBM as a Consultant in Electronic Business Solutions. He then assumed the position of Principal Consultant at Hewlett-Packard Consulting where he was responsible for various consultation mandates in Québec within the telecommunications industry.
Thereafter, he undertook his Master's Degree in Technology Management at the École Polytechnique de Montréal where he is currently working on his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) at the Centre ePoly. This research centre, in collaboration with other organizations, focuses on the impact of RFID technology within businesses. Harold is involved in several projects that he is carrying out in a number of large Canadian firms.
Harold taught at the Centre de Perfectionnement des HEC, in the Master's Programme for the Management of Technologies at the École Polytechnique, as well as at the Department of Business Strategies and Technology Management of the École des Sciences de la Gestion. In addition, he has been a guest speaker on numerous occasions for several industrial organizations.
He is currently
certified in SAP Sales and Distribution
and CompTIA RFID+ as well as being a professor
at the Administration Faculty of the Université
de Sherbrooke where he is co-responsible
for the Master's Programme in Electronic
Commerce.
Samuel
Fosso Wamba
Samuel Fosso Wamba, graduated with a M.Sc. in mathematics
from the Université de Sherbrooke
and a M.Sc. in Electronic Commerce from
the HEC, is a doctorand finishing in Industrial
Engineering with a Technology Management
option from the École Polytechnique
de Montréal.
M. Fosso Wamba is
a member of the ePoly Research Group. He
is also a part-time professor at the École
de Gestion de l'Université d'Ottawa
where his teachings pertain to corporate
models in e-business. His research work
targets the use of wireless technologies
and RFID technology as a strategic tool
for the optimization of supply chains in
the context of electronic commerce, electronic
commerce in a wireless mode (m-commerce),
business intelligence and Web mining. M.
Fosso Wamba is CompTIA RFID+ certified.
Pankaj Sood
Pankaj holds an undergraduate degree in
Computer Engineering and has recently completed
his Masters of Engineering in Entrepreneurship
and Innovation (MEEI) at McMaster University.
He is the founder of the McMaster RFID Applications
Lab. Over the last few years he has led
multidisciplinary projects for RFID Applications
in multiple verticals including healthcare,
retail, transportation and manufacturing.
In addition to two startups he has previously
worked at Deloitte as a Consultant and at
IBM as a Software Developer. Pankaj is an
active participant in national and global
standards organizations such as Standards
Council of Canada (SCC), EPC Global and
International Standards Organization (ISO)
and is a Certification Instructor and Content
Expert for Academia RFID.
