AIDC TECHNOLOGIES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA & AIM INDIA OFFERS NEW RFID TRAINING & CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS IN NEW DELHI
Developed and presented by Montreal’s Academia RFID Centre of Excellence, the professional associations introduce new hands-on technical RFID training courseware to the Indian Marketplace
March 24th, 2009 – New Delhi, India / Montreal, Canada
Growing demand for innovative
technologies and industry expertise in South
East Asia has motivated the AIDC
Technologies Association (AIDC)
and AIM India, affiliated
with AIM Global Inc, to offer hands-on training
and industry-recognized RFID certification
to professionals across India. AIDC, a non-profit
organization with a nation-wide network
of manufacturers, VARS, system integrators,
consultants, and software experts provides
opportunities for members to grow their
businesses through a variety of activities
including educational programs.
“An RFID implementation
is likely to have a major impact on any
business or enterprise involved in the production,
movement or sale of physical goods,” says
PC Jain, AIDC’s chairman and the founding
president of AIM India. “There is severe
lack of familiarity, competency and skill
sets required for RFID implementation and
we needed to bring the best expertise from
North America to India for face to face
coaching, skills transfer and exchange of
information and experiences; and we have
finally developed the collaborative relationship
we were looking for with Academia RFID.”
Last August, AIDC signed
a partnership agreement with Montreal’s
Academia RFID Centre of Excellence, North
America’s fastest-growing network of university
professors specializing in RFID courseware
development and vendor-neutral business
case development. AIDC welcomed Academia’s
expert RFID instructors to New Delhi to
present participants with high-level business
concepts and technical know-how to best
prepare them for the real issues facing
RFID integration/adoption and developing
problem-solving solutions that present real
business value justified through cost/benefit
analysis and ROI justification.
Samina Bashir, Education
Coordinator for Academia RFID said; “We’re
more than pleased to work closely with the
AIDC Technologies Association of India to
offer these new RFID training and certification
programs in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
It’s following our mandate to promote RFID
education worldwide and again helps position
our organization as more than just a training
company; but as an industry resource for
expert RFID services.”
AIDC Technologies Association
has begun signing up participants for its
next RFID programs in June 2009: the RFID
PRO Certification & RFID hands on training
for Hardware Installation & Troubleshooting.
