Dr. Ygal Bendavid is a professor in Operations Management at the Department of Technology Management at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). He is also the Academic Director and a co-founder of Academia RFID. He holds a Master's Degree in management of technology and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. Since 2004, he has taught several courses on supply chain management, information systems, electronic commerce and project management. Dr. Bendavid is also a researcher and collaborator at the ePoly Center of Expertise in eCommerce and with the Canadian Research Chair in Technology Project Management.
He has been invited as a speaker for international conferences on technology management and innovation and provided numerous seminars at RFID Journal Live!. He is a co-author of the RFID PRO Training & Certification.

Mr. Boeck is a judge for the International RFID Journal Awards as well as a co-founder and Academic Director of Academia RFID. As a conference speaker and subject matter expert, Mr. Boeck has traveled worldwide to various industry events to speak about RFID technology (from supply chain to consumer applications).
Mr. Boeck is a professor of marketing at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), an SAP Sales and Distribution Certified Consultant as well as RFID Thought Leader, having worked on some of the most innovate RFID applications in Canada. As an educator, he’s taught at the HEC Montréal, the Université de Sherbrooke, the École des Sciences de la Gestion (UQAM) and at the École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Abdel is a member of the RFID TESTeam and manages RFID Academia's Technical Support Program.

Yves is the Co-chairman of RFID Academia and the President of Liaison Can/US Logistics.

Dino is the Co-chairman of RFID Academia and the Vice-President of Liaison Can/US Logistics.

Having received his degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Management from the University of Montreal’s HEC, Mathieu has worked for the Liaison Can/U.S. Logistics Group as a transport analyst and as an Event Coordinator for the Société de la Sclérose Latérale Amyotrophique du Québec (ALS Foundation, non-profit organization).
Mathieu D’Amours is a co-founder and Director of Administration for the Academia RFID Centre of Excellence in Montreal.

Tony is the Vice-President of Finance for RFID Academia and Liaison Can/US Logistics.

An engineering graduate from Berne University of applied Science, David Gürlet has been involved for more than 30 years in ICT and more than 15 years in RFID as an entrepreneur, consultant, CEO and lecturer. He has set up and run four companies in these fields and is the owner of Academia RFID Europe.
He realized and consulted major RFID projects in Switzerland, among others the Emergency-RTLS-System for locating persons and objects in the world's longest railway tunnel, the San Gottardo with 2 x 57 km operational since 2011 and the BedManagement System at Inselspital Berne with 1,600 beds, operational since 2006. He is one of the co-writers of the official RFID-Report for the Swiss Government, a member of GS1 and co-founder of RFID-Group at SwissTnet.
Based in Switzerland, David is the Director of Academia RFID Centre of Excellence in Europe.

Upon completing his studies in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Omsk in Russia, Sergey embarked on a career in telecommunications in Germany and Canada. Since 2008, he has worked in-depth with both fiber-optic and RFID technologies for large-scale innovation projects worldwide.
Sergey is a Special Projects Manager for the Academia RFID Centre of Excellence.

Karine is the Director of Finance for RFID Academia and Liaison Can/US Logistics.

Voula is the Administrative Director for RFID Academia and Liaison Can/US Logistics.

Gary G. McCann is a seasoned subject matter expert involved in innovation across the wireless and RFID technology space with over 30 years of business experience. Mr McCann has a diverse background working for both large multinational companies at senior levels such as Bell Canada, Bell International, Sykes Enterprises and IBM and has an entrepreneurial flair where he has been involved in two Software start-ups in the mid 1990’s. While at IBM from 2000-2009, Mr McCann as Business Development Executive was the RFID lead for IBM’s US division for sensors and actuators where he honed his expertise in helping organizations gain new insights into their business processes and transforming the way they do business through the introduction of RFID and Asset tracking technologies. In this capacity he led many RFID deployments across the Industrial Sector in Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Chemical & Petroleum. Mr. McCann was also focused on delivering end to end wireless and sensoring solutions to a variety of verticals such as Manufacturing and CPG as well as Healthcare. Mr. McCann has additional experience in the following areas; RFID Supply Chain, Location Awareness, GPS AVL and Fleet Management, Data Collection, Asset Monitoring, Smart Card Systems and Biometrics. Mr. McCann was a member of the IBM’s Speaker Forum and represented IBM at many industry events. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor with an Honours degree in Business Administration and Computer Science and is RFID PRO Certified.
Gary is the Director of Professional Services for Academia RFID Centre of Excellence in the Greater Toronto Area.

Having completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Option Information Systems from Concordia University, Eddie has worked on numerous RFID software development projects. Eddie is a certified Sun Java programmer and has experience managing the full life cycle of an RFID project, including conducting site surveys, identifying customer needs, analyzing pain points, developing custom RFID solutions and deploying and configuring a variety of RFID hardware including Alien, Impinj, Awid, Motorola, Psion TekLogix, Sato, Zebra, Printronix, Paxar and Aeroscout.
Eddie is the Director of Technical Services and leads the RFID Technical Expertise and Software Team (RFID TESTeam®) for Academia RFID Centre of Excellence.

Having completed his studies at Concordia University in Management and Marketing, Anthony worked extensively as a consultant in transport and supply chain management (Liaison Can./U.S. Logistics) before founding RFID Academia in 2005. Anthony speaks at Univeristies, conferences and seminars worlwide about the applications and benefits of RFID technology and their impact on businesses and has overseen the design, development and deployment of numerous RFID projects around the world.
Anthony is the Founder and Director of RFID Academia Centre of Excellence in Montreal, a co-founder and officer of the International RFID Institute, a member of the Board of Directors of Montreal's International Logistics Institute, a member of EPCglobal's Strategic Advisory Council and the co-chair of the GS1 Healthcare Sub-Committee.

Pankaj holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and has recently completed his Masters of Engineering in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEEI) at McMaster University. He is the founder of the McMaster RFID Applications Lab. Over the last few years he has led multidisciplinary projects for RFID Applications in multiple verticals including healthcare, retail, transportation and manufacturing. In addition to two startups he has previously worked at Deloitte as a Consultant and at IBM as a Software Developer.
Pankaj is an active participant in national and global standards organizations such as Standards Council of Canada (SCC), EPC Global and International Standards Organization (ISO) and is a Certification Instructor and Content Expert for Academia RFID.

Dr. Kenneth R. Traub is an independent consultant specializing in software architecture and EPC/RFID standards. Ken holds several leadership roles within EPCglobal, the international standards organization for RFID. Within EPCglobal, Ken serves on the Architecture Review Committee that oversees all technical specifications, as well as being an active contributor and/or co-chair of six technical working groups; in particular, Ken is the lead editor of the EPCglobal ALE, EPCIS, Core Business Vocabulary, and Tag Data Standard specifications. Ken Traub was a founder and CTO of ConnecTerra, an early pioneer in RFID software that was acquired by BEA Systems in 2005. Prior to founding ConnecTerra, Ken has been a founder and technical advisor to four other high technology startups in the Boston area. Ken received his B.S., M.S. and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Traub is a Consultant and Instructor for the Academia RFID Centre of Excellence.

Dr. Samuel Fosso Wamba is a senior lecturer at the School of Information Systems & Technology (SISAT).
He earned an MSc in mathematics; from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada, an MSc in e-commerce from HEC Montreal, Canada, and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering for his work on RFID technology in the supply chain from Polytechnic School of Montreal, Canada.
His current research focuses on business value of IT, inter-organizational system (e.g., RFID technology) adoption and use, supply chain management, electronic commerce, mobile commerce and e-government.
Dr. Wamba is a co-founder of Academia RFID.

Albert Zhang is the Chief Operating Officer of China Pathway Group. He has over 20 years experience in business development and customer support. He is also the founder and president of PA POLYTECH INC, a Toronto based company since 1999. In 2000 PA POLYTECH opened the Beijing office to sell various kinds of equipment from the US, Canada, and Europe to the Chinese market, targeting customers in petrochemical, mining, and metallurgy industries. Albert has also founded UNIOK Technology Inc, a Chinese company focusing on high tech product marketing and distribution, including various software products. Before founding his own company, he was the Chief Representative in the Beijing office for L&Z VENTRADE INC, a US equipment company. Prior to that, he worked in the China Steel Ministry as an electrical designing engineer.
Based in Beijing, Albert is a Consultant and Instructor for Academia RFID in Asia.
